East Stroudsburg University Graduate Degree Research of Demolitions of Easton from 1945 to 1993 As an Architect, Historian and Surrealist, my paintings, sketches, and books reveal the unique personalities and messages secreted in antique architectural streetscapes, and skyscapes. My Architectural Surrealism comprises a ground of sky aglow with Spiritual Rainbow-Light. Skyscapes ‘speak’ to me ~ I then translate their wisdom into the language of color, first to myself, then to the viewer of the canvas. I believe skyscapes are infused with living energies. When I paint, I channel these energies, and my own. For me, creating is a meditative experience that instantly transports me away from the past and future, resulting in an awakening to the very present moment, which is all that I ever get to actually live in, and which is always enough. BIOGRAPHY: For 45 years, a magic carpet known as The Wonderful World of Architecture transported me to a successful professional career in Manhattan, London, Wales, Australia, New England, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Four books of my pen-and-ink impressions of antique architecture have been published in Australia and Pennsylvania. From 1973 until 2001, numerous exhibitions of my pen-and-ink Architectural Portraits and Architectural Fine Art Paintings have been held in Australia and Pennsylvania.
