Both of those two majors above do not really concentrate on programming. It is true that you will definitely do a lot of programming in those two majors (more on Computer Science), the emphasis of those two majors are not on programming.
For example master in Computer Science typically covers algorithm analysis/design, programming language study/design, comp hardware architecture, DB architecture, and other advanced stuffs. The emphasis is more on the &quot;hood&quot; of the programming languages or computer technologies rather than the applications.
I agree with the first answer. You will learn more of the applications side with msc in IT.</description>
